The Camp Chef Outdoor Entertainment Gear OS92 Indoor/Outdoor Movie Theater Screenarrived in two days as promised with my Amazon Prime account.
Once I opened the box, I pulled out the 20 x 8" black cinch nylon bag which holds the screen and frame inside. Inside the first bag is the screen neatly wrapped around a second bag that houses the super easy shock corded aluminum frame along with a smaller bag of hardware and straps for hanging.

Pros:
1)Fast easy assembly.(The whole screen was out of the box and fully assembled in less then 5 minutes)
2)Breakdown is quick and easy too.
3)Very portable. (the screen and frame fit into a bag about 20"x8" and is very light)
4)Sturdy. (Once assembled and tightened the frame and screen stay very ridged)
5)The screen works with front or rear projection.
6)The screen has a very professional look.(Nice edges trimmed in black)

2. Fantastic product.........
I bought this for an out door movie setup. My porch is aprox. 12 feet deep, so I installed hooks from my soffit on the pool deck and use this as a rear projection screen. The screen works fantastic, and for my set up (rear projection) this screen was exactly what I was looking for. I also took the time to install a bi directional hdmi switch that i also purchased from amazon. So now, all I have to do is hang the screen on the hooks, plug my projector into my exterior hdmi wall plate that i installed in a weather box and im done in less than 10 minutes. I flip the signal on my bidirectional switch, and it sends all my signals from my home theater inside to the outdoor hdmi plate........Now we can enjoy movies by pool side.....good stuff, and highly recomend this screen.....

Great outdoor screen
I just received my OEG OS92 Screen yesterday. Assembly was easy. The screen is light and appears to be made of quality materials. Screw in hooks and straps are included for hanging the screen. I am looking forward to using it.

Edit: Finally had a chance to use the screen outside. It kicked ass as I suspected it would. Buy one.

1. Excellent paring knife
I received this paring knife after sampling and handling Wusthof Classic and a variety of J.A. Henkel knives. The Mercer has a different gripping (a special polymer rubber) which feels perfect in your hand and gives absolutely nothing up to either the Wusthof or the Henkel. Most culinary schools and many chefs swear by these. Highly recommended.

2. High Quality, Great Price
Very nice solid blade, comfortable weight with a nicely textured handle for grip. I bought this to replace a nice Henckel paring knife that had been broken by a collision between a pugnacious pumpkin and an exuberant child. I don't see such misfortune happening with this more solid knife! It feels and performs better than the Henckel we had.

great little knife
My son gave me this knife because he knows I like paring kives. I managed to lose or seriously misplace the knife. I was so disappointed. My son did not remember where he had purchased it. I looked in many stores, to no avail. Then I thought that I would try the Internet...Amazon...I buy books a lot. I was thrilled to find the knife and have it delivered swiftly. For a 77 year old woman it was a little victory! Great little knife!

The LG 42GA6400 is a mixture of solid performance and underdeveloped promise. At the time of this review (May 2013), the 42GA6400 is a 4-star television. I put that disclaimer up front because I firmly believe that some thoughtful software fixes could definitely bump this TV up to 5-stars.

Great TV gets better with GOOGLE TV
Picked up this TV last week, and really starting to love it. Takes a bit to get used to the google TV, lots of options, but its pretty impressive. I like the remote, When you're working with apps has a wii like function to move the cursor around the screen by moving the remote(you can also use directional buttons) has a good keyboard on back. Loving the PIP feature where I can be in a google TV app but still watch TV. I "cut" the cord (well have basic cable now) and Google chrome (web browser) works great and I can watch allot of videos (including flash based) like HGTV (wife) and the Daily show. Also have amazon prime, so I can stream allot of shows for free (has netflix too, but no Hulu on any google tv)
Comes with 2 IR blasters to control your cable box (if you have one, has built in OTA tuner) and AV equipment. I have a Tivo for DVR (Google TV right now has no DVR abilities but can control DVR's with IR blaster) and the TV controls it pretty good (see below)

1. Took the plunge and went BIG...
First off, let me say I am not a "Google fan boy" as the fact that its made with Google products didn't really matter to me. My decision was concluded after widespread research of many TVs from different brands offering different products. I didn't buy it because it had Google stamped on it, so I am unbiased in my decision making. In my opinion, this was the best choice for my setup for my own reasons. Your needs may be different.

So I was torn apart from the 55GA6400 and the 55GA7900. I was in the market for a new TV and did a TON of research, looking various TVs based on the following:

3D: Active Vs. Passive. I prefer Passive, because you don't need to purchase batteries, many TVs already come with a few pair of passive glasses and from my experience they are easier on the eyes. The price for the glasses of active are astronomical! This tv is passive.

120hz vs 240hz: It doesn't really matter to me because having any TV is better than none at all...

2. Beautiful Display with Endless Possibilities
UPDATE:

I watched the DVD version of Oz the Great and Powerful last night and decided to turn on the 2D to 3D conversion, it was great! I have found that the 2D to 3D conversion works great on movies that were made in 3D (I get most of my movies from Netflix [DVD] so watching great 3D movies on a budget is not easy since I cannot afford to purchase all of the disks that I want to see on 3D and Netflix does not rent out 3D Blu-Ray [to my knowledge]). I have tried the 2D to 3D conversion on other stuff and it works, but is not amazing 3D effects, but movies that were originally in 3D look great even when watching the DVD version!

UPDATE:

My problem with the UP arrow and UP roller were found to be a problem with the Remote control, I called LG and they sent me a new Remote for free and it arrived quickly! Their was no problems at all and the representative was super helpful and once the problem was found to be the remote sent a new one for free...

Truly Amazing TV Experience
I got this TV a few weeks ago, and have been really enjoying having it. I was not in the market for a new TV, but I am definitely really glad that I got this one. Below are some of my experiences and observations thus far. I may add some more info as I get to know this TV more in the upcoming years.

Despite it being a fairly big 47" TV, setting this device up was a breeze. It is remarkably light, and even though you are supposed to set it up with someone else helping you out, a reasonably strong person could do it by himself. The connections and all the other setup features were also reasonably easy to figure out and configure, although this could be just my bias - over the years I've set up a fair number of TVs and other "screen"-based devices, so I am very familiar with all of its ins and outs. If, on the other hand, you don't know the difference between, say an HDMI and component cables, then you might want to have someone a bit more...

1. Excellent knives, sharp, durable, incredible price
If you are searching for fully forged, qualities knives on a budget, I highly recommend the Mercer Genesis series. I am a bit of a foodie and have used ceramic blades, Wustofs and Henkels in the past. On a functional level, these knives pair right next to those. Used in culinary schools, the blades are of top quality and the knives are well balanced in the hand. Some who I have shown my knives to have objected to the synthetic "soft" handle, but I think they were mostly just mad at the price I paid when they compared these to their much more costly German ones. Are they as pretty as a set of Global knives? No. But they are sharp, durable and won't break the bank. If you are looking for a show set, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you have some cutting to do, these knives should please.

Mercer have great knives and these are no exception to that, I use them a few days a week in commercial kitchen and could not be happier and am planning on adding to this set!

I have several Canon products, including a Rebel T3i and a Vixia M52. I've been extremely happy with these products, and I was looking for a small video camera I could use to record videos for work. I have a pretty good camera on my phone (a Lumia 928), but cameras on phones aren't ideal for recording videos where you need to be sure of your location in the frame (can't see yourself on the superior rear camera, and most front cameras are garbage). While some may use a high quality webcam for recording certain kinds of videos, you inevitably tie yourself to your computer, thereby limiting what, and where, you can record. I still have a Flip Mino HD (still an awesome video camera that unfortunately died at the hands of smartphones) that I use when I don't want to haul out the M52. 1. VERY POWERFUL AND EASY TO CLEAN
I highly recommend the Cuisinart Mini-Prep. I've had one for 6 years and it is still running beautifully. For such a small unit it has a surprisingly powerful motor. It can chop or puree vegies, fruits, - even cooked beef, chicken, and fish. When I first bought it I used it mainly for chopping onions, garlic, herbs, etc., but then I began to discover the possibilities. Ofcourse, the portions you are able to prepare are small, but if you're alone or have a very small family, it's a great little machine. Also a breeze to clean (not like the large Cuisinart units). Only negative is that it is rather noisy, however, for this price it is a terrific value. I must add that I bought two other mini processors prior to this one (both by Black & Decker) and was thoroughly dissatisfied with them. The motors were not powerful at all and the blades were in a different position than Cuisinart Mini-Prep. They could not chop more than 1/4 to 1/2 cup of food at a time or it would not run...

2. Mini-Prep
I have been using the Mini-Prep for a few years. I like to use it for small jobs like chopping herbs, parmesan cheese, and for making pesto. I haven't had any problems with processing parmesan cheese as one reviewer did. The blade has two sides, a blunt side for processing hard items like parmesan cheese, chocolate, and coffee beans and a sharp side for processing soft items such as onions, garlic, meats, and mushrooms. The sharp side is labeled sharp. If you alternate between processing hard and soft items, you have to remember to check the position of the blade to make sure you are processing with the right side. In addition, the processor has two speeds, HI & LO. The LO speed is recommended for use with the sharp side of the blade and pulse action while the HI speed is recommended for use with the blunt side of the blade and continuous processing. The Mini-Prep has a lot of kick to it for such a small appliance, and I have found it best to hold it steady with one hand,...

A time for every seasoning......
A time for every seasoning......and a utensil for every purpose. The Cuisinart Mini Prep does not serve well as a primary processor for heavy jobs. That was not its intended design, or function.

I obtained my first mini prep as a promotional gift with a DLC-7 purchase. For many years they have been contributing to my cooking enjoyment as a problem-free, complimentary team in a busy kitchen. When their lexan lids eventually chipped, (which admittedly is a major cause of aggravation with Cuisinart's products) I opted to replace them rather than spend up to 50% of their new cost for replacement bowls. I upgraded the old DLC-7 that is still mechanically perfect, with a MP-14 TM Limited Edition.

The Mini Prep perfectly compliments larger processors. I specifically elected to stay with Cuisinart's older, boxier design; because its function is favored over the newer, sleeker model, the DLC-2ABC.

1. Just Right, at first
You can't beat this for the price. I got it to replace my Mercer 9" Chef, which is a very serious blade, just not my cup of tea. I really prefer the Santoku knife, and love my Mercer Genesis knife kit which this matches. As a culinary student, I can say with certainty that I would not have passed my knife skills practical exam without this baby. Its my go-to axe until further notice, or until I can afford a Global or a Shun.
An update to this is that after 8 weeks of light to moderate use in culinary college, the blade is pitted badly, from some unknown metal to metal contact. This shouldn't happen to a brand new knife which has not been abused, and has always been washed by itself. I will attempt to return to Mercer and see what happens.

2. Great knife, great price.
I hardly touch my chef's knife anymore. I cook every day and this knife is my favorite. I bought it several months ago and it is very easy to sharpen and keeps a razor edge. Nice balance, well constructed, as good as knives costing twice what I paid, $43.

1. Can Use iPad 2 in Kitchen
Belkin has fulfilled a need by providing a mount for iPad 2 to be used in kitchen. It is good product but has a few shortcomings that you need to be aware of. There is no cover for iPad; it is only for iPad 2 and the original iPad is too thick for it and does not have the magnet to hold it; the strips that hold the cover have to be set for an hour; and it will probably be more secure screwed on to a wall or cabinet. Other alternatives to it include Belkin Kitchen Stand and Wand for Tablets (F5L099tt), Belkin Under Cabinet Mount for iPad and Tablets (F5L100tt) and Chef Sleeve - which is not available at Amazon as of now.

2. It fell off the fridge!!
It was great for about a month or so... It did exactly what it was supposed to do but within a month's time it completely just fell right off the fridge. Thankfully without my iPad attached. I wouldn't buy another one.

Secure, useful mount, that is well-designed
I installed this mount in less than 10 minutes on a stationary cabinet door in the kitchen. My spouse likes to listen to news radio and music while in there, and was uncomfortable having the iPad on the countertop. Now she can insert the iPad into the mount and have full access to the controls. The design is very good. Basically, a good quality plastic with white matte finish. A removable plate on the back is placed where you want the mount. The plate has 4 designated areas where the adhesive strips are applied. When the adhesive is exposed, the plate is pressed against the surface for 30 seconds, then the mount is installed over the plate until it clicks into place. This is left for 1 hour for the adhesive to fully set. The adhesive strips are designed so they may later be removed by pulling on them across the surface. There are tabs that help you do this. These are 3M strips, and not some off-brand product. I haven't done this yet, of course, but I feel that the underlying surface...

I upgraded from the Camp Chef 120-Inch Portable Outdoor Movie Theater Screen to this one.

And, while I believe that may have been a mistake, there are more PLUSES for this screen, than there are negatives.

I want to first get the most obvious questions out of the way, that SHOULD have been printed SOMEWHERE!

#1. What color is the surface of the screen? It is GREY. It is NOT white at all. It is the same color as the Camp Chef 120 inch front projection screen. Don't let the outside box or the advertisements fool you. Why they give potential customers the impression the screen is white is misleading as far as I'm concerned.

#2. What is the actual VIEWABLE measurements of the screen?
The VIEWABLE image (minus the black bars) is 5'4 tall by 9'7 wide. Including the black bars, MINE is 6 foot tall by 10'3 wide.

#3. Can the screen really be used indoors? Yes. However, there is NOTHING in the documentation that would...

Just what I expected
I bought this model to upgrade from my 120" model I bought several years ago. This model is 132" diagonal and lighter than the 120 model. Once staked out this thing is super stable even in gusty winds. I especially liked the ability to roll down the black backing and project on the rear of the screen. It was nice to get the projector to the back of the screen. This was a huge upgrade from the 120" model. The setup on this was super easy even for one person. The movie showed up great. Can't wait to set it up again and have another movie night with the kids. If you are trying to decide between the 120 and the 132" version go with the 132". The extra size is nice and the rear projection capability makes it well worth the extra money.

1. Does as intended, marketing is shady
If you want to know why this product has so many 5-star review, I can give you two reasons: 1) It works well; 2) They bribe users with free accessories in their packaging materials.

The product itself is fairly easy to install with some basic tools and looks good and works well in the kitchen. Sometimes the tray gets in the way and doesn't store conveniently, but without making the device much more complicated, there's really nothing to be done.

I knocked off two stars because I don't think much of their bribing buyers for 5-star reviews by offering free prizes and accessories. (A slip comes in the packaging that offers a drawing that you "enter" by leaving a 5-star review.) That seems like a clear violation of terms-of-service, or at the very least, the spirit of a free and open marketplace.

2. KP Duty Got You Down?
This rack is great if you must spend a lengthy amount of time in the kitchen because you can transform your existing ipad, kindle or other device into an "under-the-counter" media system. I never planned on buying an under-the-counter TV/DVD player, the reviews were poor and couldn't justify spending the cash on one. This little rack gives just about the same experience, but better. Of course you need to have a device to place on it, but since you are looking at this rack you probably already own something you plan on using with it. Why is it better than an under-the-counter TV? Well, it's more versatile. You can easily remove the rack when you aren't using it so it doesn't permanently clutter up your kitchen. Plus, you get to utilize your favorite device even more!

This rack has been handy to watch basketball games on the ipad via the directv app while cooking in the kitchen. It's no longer necessary to call into the other room "What happened?? Who scored? Pause it!" while...

Very Handy
Keeps the iPad off the workspace, which is important in my small urban kitchen, and works well in either landscape or portrait mode. It's able to hold the iPad despite the thickness of its case (Piel Frama). Although the rack can easily be tucked away, it's transparent and I usually leave it up. I use a screen protector (Speck) but have never found so much as a splash of ingredients on the screen, which I sometimes did when using the counter-based iPad holders that I have since tossed.

1. Powerful, but could be easier to use
This microwave is massive and really powerful. It doesn't have superfluous buttons, and it seems to defrost and re-heat evenly.

But...

The dial, which is simple enough to use, is much harder to use than a simple keypad. It's very sensitive, non-linear (meaning between 1 and 10 you can pick the exact number of seconds, after 10 you can only get to the nearest 5, after 1 minute, only the nearest 10, after 5 minutes, only the nearest 15) and it's always a guess how far to turn it. Turn too far, then adjust. Then adjust again. And maybe again. I always know what I want to set it for and I could touch "4" then "5" much faster than I can find ":45" on the dial. Why'd they fix something that wasn't broken?

To set the power level, you have to press the Power Level button once for each 10% you want to go down. So if you want 90%, you press it once. If you want 20% to soften butter, you have to press it 8 times! Really? Why couldn't they use the dial for...

2. Very large, excellent results!
We have used Samsung and GE Profile microwaves, and this one is superior. It has enormous capacity. The interface is very convenient, although it takes a bit of getting used to because of the dial rather than a number pad. It is very powerful and heats quickly and very evenly. It comes with clear instructions. I have only one complaint about the interface, which is that the power setting does not display the power being used, so you have to remember what you programmed in (and hope that you didn't make a mistake because there's no feedback about what power is actually being used). The instructions could also be clearer about how to program multiple cook times -- the machine actually allow pre-programming of three time/power combinations, which is better than the two allowed by most machines.

The inverter technology allow true differences in the power output. Most machines simply switch the microwave generator on and off proportionately. This microwave works better...

Easy to use..but very dim display light
This is our 3rd Panasonic microwave in 12 years because they are the only brand that fits in the "box" in our cabinetry and we find them to be a very good product. (yeah...I know, they should last more than 4-5 years, but I don't realistically expect that.) When we set this one up, we noticed that the display light that shows time, power level, etc. is extremely DIM and you have to sort of move your head around to catch it at a good angle to be able to read it. We called Panasonic customer service who were no help at all. They asked me if it was plugged in after I told them that the microwave worked fine, but the light was almost illegible. Really? How could the microwave work if I didn't have it plugged in. Then told me to try a few other things and kept repeating what the repair and warranty policy was---net, no help at all. I wasn't going to spend a few hours driving back and forth to a Panasonic repair dealership for a 15 minute old product that should have just been...

1. Cool Kitchen Gadget!!
I purchased this product mainly for making soups. I hated having to put soup into the blender in bathces to puree it. Not only was this time consuming but I usually made a huge mess in the process. Well this product solved that problem for me. I made a soup the other day and used this product to blend the soup right in the pot! While I was nervous about "only" being able to run the blender continuously for 50 seconds, I learned that 50 seconds is more than enough time for this item to blend a whole pot of soup, in fact it only took about 15-20 seconds.

I have also used the grinder attachment to mince fresh parsley, and have also made a smoothie using the included measuring cup and blender.

Although the manual states that you cannot run this product for more than a certain amount of time (depending on the function), I have learned that this product can accomplish those tasks easily in the time frames given (it took 5 seconds to mince my parsley!)...

2. Rubbish!
I would like to give it no stars but that's an option on Amazon rating. Bought in May (but only used about 4 times since then as we were away for a long summer). Used to blend tinned tomatoes. Worked fine couple of times then blades in blender, chopper and whisk turned very slowly and seemed to squeal when motor ran. Called up Cuisinart and they sent me a new kit. Same thing happened. So I called again and they sent me chopper lid and whisk attachment (only blender had worked in new kit). Now I've the handstick that works very well (for how long though?), chopper grinder doesn't work at all and neither does whisk. I looked inside the motor shaft and these "stripped teeth" everyone in the one-star category keeps on about are also looking that way in mine (I hadn't looked in the original one I sent back). Unfortunately I hadn't read the bad reviews before I bought it, and it seems that this "teeth stripping" is a continual problem with most of their hand sticks. I've already spent $20...

Excellent Warranty Service
I have had this blender for about a year and have used it weekly for smoothies with great success. Last week I was using it to chop basil and the blade in the chopping bowl sliced into the side of the plastic bowl. Miraculously I kept and located the manual that said it had a 3 year warranty. I called the number, which told me to call another number, I was on hold a very short time. I read the customer service representative my item's serial number and she sent me a new bowl and suggested that she also include a new blade in case my blade had been damaged. Way to go cuisinart.

I bought this for an out door movie setup. My porch is aprox. 12 feet deep, so I installed hooks from my soffit on the pool deck and use this as a rear projection screen. The screen works fantastic, and for my set up (rear projection) this screen was exactly what I was looking for. I also took the time to install a bi directional hdmi switch that i also purchased from amazon. So now, all I have to do is hang the screen on the hooks, plug my projector into my exterior hdmi wall plate that i installed in a weather box and im done in less than 10 minutes. I flip the signal on my bidirectional switch, and it sends all my signals from my home theater inside to the outdoor hdmi plate........Now we can enjoy movies by pool side.....good stuff, and highly recomend this screen.....

I just received my OEG OS92 Screen yesterday. Assembly was easy. The screen is light and appears to be made of quality materials. Screw in hooks and straps are included for hanging the screen. I am looking forward to using it.

I like to read during meals, so I bought the BookArc to hold my iPad 2 at a convenient angle. The iPad fits securely, with or without its smart cover, in both upright and landscape orientation.

This stand has some heft to it -- it's solid and substantial. I find it attractive enough that I just leave it on my dining table when not in use, like some odd, abstract art centerpiece.

The only flaw (if I can even call it that) is that with the iPad in the upright position, accessing the home button is awkward. I have used the M-175 with our Uniden cordless phone (Digital Spread Spectrum) for over a week now. I have attended extended conference calls and various other calls, using the M-175. I asked the called parties if they could hear me clearly and the response was always positive. The sound quality of the headset from the user perspective is also very good. There is a volume adjustment as well as a very handy, mute switch. The headset is very light and comfortable. It comes with enough hardware to configure it to fit with a headband or an over-the-ear clip. Both modes are very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods without fatigue. The construction seems fairly sturdy however; it is all plastic so I would not be overly rough with it. Over all I would recommend this product, I'm sure it would work very well with a cellular phone as well.

Successfully does what it's designed to do
As others have noted, sound quality is a hit or miss venture - it depends on the combination of phone and headset. Frustrating, but reality. I use my Plantronics with a Uniden TRU346, I've had to max out the volume on the phone and in both places on the headset to achieve adequate enough volume where no one complains about not hearing me. Fortunately, both the M175 and Uniden have excellent volume control features, otherwise I'd have had to return this headset. The only downside to this is that when dialing, if I forget to turn down the volume before dialing it's too loud, after connecting I then can max the volume - a minor annoyance.

I use a business level (read: very expensive) Plantronics headset with amplification module at the office, but that ties me to my desk, when working from home, I use the Plantronics M175, put my phone in my pocket, and can roam hands free for as far as my phone will take me. I've had the Cuisinart DCC-1200 for about a week now. I was hesitant to spend so much on a coffee maker but I'm happy to report it's well worth it. After purchasing 3 other coffee makers, the 4th one is the charm! This coffee maker makes great tasting coffee. I never knew there was a difference -- it's worth spending a few more dollars on. The LG 42GA6400 is a mixture of solid performance and underdeveloped promise. At the time of this review (May 2013), the 42GA6400 is a 4-star television. I put that disclaimer up front because I firmly believe that some thoughtful software fixes could definitely bump this TV up to 5-stars.

Great TV gets better with GOOGLE TV
Picked up this TV last week, and really starting to love it. Takes a bit to get used to the google TV, lots of options, but its pretty impressive. I like the remote, When you're working with apps has a wii like function to move the cursor around the screen by moving the remote(you can also use directional buttons) has a good keyboard on back. Loving the PIP feature where I can be in a google TV app but still watch TV. I "cut" the cord (well have basic cable now) and Google chrome (web browser) works great and I can watch allot of videos (including flash based) like HGTV (wife) and the Daily show. 2. I really like these, feels safe, but BATTERIES run out quickly
I have 4 of these smoke detectors installed in my cape cod home and it makes me feel safe. When one goes off, they all go off and the deep male voice says whether there is smoke or CO2 in the house. ONCE they went off when there was smoke in the kitchen. The rest of the time they go off, mostly in the middle of the night for some mysterious reason, saying, in the loud man's voice, "Change the batteries in the kitchen smoke detector" or "Change the batteries in the hallway smoke detector" etc etc. I currently have two of them lying on the floor with the battery drawers pulled out which stops the voice and the beep--beep--beep letting me know the batteries, which I had installed maybe 2 or 3 or 4 weeks before, are used up. Our newest one (this one) is just over 1 year old and the volume has gone crazy - we used to listen at 4 or 5 level, but then the other day it suddenly jumped, and now a 2 level is too load (like a 7 or 8 original), and a 1 level is too low (basically sound is off). This is our second unit and it lasted just over a year - The previous one lasted just about 2 years. On the previous one the unit started loosing the channels, at first only once in a while when you turned the tv on, but then every time you turned it on. You then had to go through the 10 mins or so to auto-program the channels. That lasted a little bit (month or so), and then it started happening while you were watching (about 1/2 hour in). Mostly, it's been fine. It meets my primary requirement for a microwave, which is that you can put food into it, press 3 0 START, and it cooks for 30 seconds at full power. (It's amazing how many microwaves fail that test, requiring some other key before the time. Easy enough if you know how to use it, but not for visitors.)

It can do relatively complex sequences like:
- Wait 5 minutes (to line up completion time with other foods)
- Cook 4 minutes
- Wait 20 seconds (to give me time to stir)
- Cook 3 minutes
- Wait 2 minutes (post-cook "let stand" time)

It'll prompt you through most operations, though ... the ... prompting ... is ... kind ... of ... tedious.

Fantastic
I have always been partial to Panasonic microwaves and this is one of the best. It has had constant daily use for over two months now with an excellent performance record.

In fact, I have only used my stove and oven twice since this purchase (for a large frozen pizza). The sensors are very accurate - oatmeal is perfect. With two frozen dinners, I had to add additional time, but everything else has cooked, reheated or thawed as expected.

Earlier reviews mentioned resetting the clock and a loud beep. Panasonic must have listened to their customers as neither problem appears to be present on this model.

With 1250 watts, it does reheat more quickly than older models so I would suggest reducing the time until you get used to your new microwave.

UPDATE - 10/21/2008 - In December it will be two years - still perfect!

1. Great Coffee for a Reasonable Price
I chose this grind and brew after reading all of the reviews for this and similar machines. Frankly, I am surprised by the negative comments. This is an easy to use machine once it is set up properly (the bean hopper takes a little of effort to snap in). The coffee tastes great and the parts are very easy to clean quickly. While the instruction book is not clear, Cuisinart was very helpful on the phone. The machine does not know how much water you put in, so if you set it to grind coffee for 6 cups and you have 8 cups of water in it, it will process all 8 cups of water. Other than this small quirk, the machine is a small wonder and I do not feel compelled to go out for coffee in the morning. The thermos carafe will keep the coffee quite warm for a few hours, even when the carafe is not warmed up with hot water. Wondering why it took me so long to go ahead and buy this machine. This is the best model; my neighbor has the first generation/second generation machine which is hard to clean...

2. Excellent coffee, convenience, and design; grind is a little coarse
I bought this coffeemaker after returning my Krups KM7000. Overall, I have been pleased with this model, save for a few quirks. The bottom line is that it makes OUTSTANDING, HOT coffee with great convenience in a design that appears very durable. I have NOT had any problems with getting the pieces together and I do not find it complicated on a day-to-day basis whatsoever.

PROS:
-Coffee is full-bodied and flavorful. I use the 4-cup setting with about 3 cups of water and the strength set to strong. This uses the aroma feature, and the coffee is perfect.
-Temperature is perfect, the hottest I've tasted from a model like this. The base WARMS THE THERMAL CARAFE when the machine goes on, then goes off when the brew is complete. This may theoretically be eliminating the effect of the cooling of hot coffee by a stone-cold carafe. On the other hand, the carafe is highly insulated and it may be doing nothing. Wastes Coffee Beans - 60% increase in Bean Consumption
This unit wastes beans.

According to the user manual, if you fill the coffee bean hopper with 1/2 lb of coffee, you can expect "at least" two - 12 cup brews. I thought this was a bit conservative but it was confirmed when I made the first pot of coffee. I set the machine for 12 cups and watched as almost half of the beans disappeared on the first pot.

I figure it uses almost 1/4 lb of beans to brew a full pot (12 cups of 5 oz coffee). This is about double what would be used if you followed the directions when using a manual grinder (one scoop of beans per cup using the scoop that comes with this coffee maker).

I think Cusinart kept the grind at very coarse level to ensure proper grind flow in the machine. To compensate, they increased the amount of coffee ground. Thus it uses about 4 oz of beans versus 2.5 oz of beans per 10-12 cup pot. It doesn't sound like much but works out to 60% extra per pot.
