This Speaker Systems give to us some advantages, good reviews already proving the quality of this product, like this :
1. Good bang for the buck
The Sharp DK-A1 is a solid choice if looking for a way to play your I-pod externally. The positives include: very good sound. My sister has the Bose sound system for her I-pod which costs over twice as much from what I paid, but does not sound any better. The Sharp casts very deep, full sound, with lots of base for such a small unit. The E-sound button magnifies the bass nicely, but will become distorted, if the sound is too loud with it on. The illuminated blue lights are a nice touch and look great at night. The general design is nicely laid out. The negatives are: Limited range with the remote. I can only use the remote if I am within 6 ft of the console. In addition I am unable to change the play lists from the remote. It will only control the sound level and allow you to change the songs from the same play lists. I would have liked if this system had a handle to carry it from room to room and had a built in antenna, rather than the external wires which are a nuance to disconnect...

2. Sharp DKA1 i-Elegance Music System for iPod
I listened to a lot of docking stations before settling on this one. I started with the one I thought would have no peers - the big "B" brand speaker. As I moved along in my search, the Sharp DKA1 had the bass sound that came closest to the big brand name docking station. Most other copycat brands sounded tinny. In addition to the DKA1 having rich, deep tones to complement the highs and mid-range sound, it has a built-in clock and an AM/FM radio with 40 presets. And the price for all of this is much less than the big brand item. It's the most bang-for-the-buck of any docking station available today based on my comparison with nearly 20 competitive products.

It's not BOSE, but it'll do.
For the current price listed on Amazon ($289) you'd be better off getting a BOSE Sound dock in my opinion.

But if you can get this unit for much less like I just did, it's a solid little unit. It looks and sounds great.

1. Look at the Silver Model
I posted my review under the Silver model if you're looking for more input. I also posted some sample images.

This camera has some unique features. #1 is the ability to shoot intervals. Very few cameras have that feature---I know of only a couple. This allows you to set the camera to take an image every 5 seconds-5 minutes-or 1 hour---etc. You set the time. This is so cool. You can get time lapse movies of the weather changing, clouds boiling, the dogs while you're out, nature shots, a complete dinner party from prep to complete---time lapse is a lot of fun.

That said, I HIGHLY recommend this camera.

2. Love this camera!
I did quite a bit of research before choosing the Ricoh CX5, and I was happy with my purchase. I lost my camera on a recent trip and I really miss the thing. I am considering buying another CX5, just because I liked it so much. It definitely helps that the camera is now $150 less than when I bought it. I think it's absolutely worth the money, especially considering the options for comparably priced point and shoot cameras.
The camera is a little bigger and heavier than some of the newer, super compact cameras, but it's still small enough to fit in most camera cases or your back pocket. It's heavier because it is made of metal instead of cheap plastic (which I think is a good thing). The great optical zoom also makes for a bigger camera. I think it takes fantastic pictures. It has many options for different settings. Compared to all the other cameras I've owned, this one took the best low light photos. It also took incredible macro photos, and firework photos. Another of my...

Good for outdoor photos.
Im not the greatest when it comes to taking photos, so I was looking for a point & shot camera with good quality pictures! I found the Ricoh CX5 takes good photos outdoors with not much effort but for indoor photos especially in low lighting you would have to play around with the setting to get it right. This camera was a little more technical then I had hoped for. I was really just wanting a camera I could set on auto & shot away, indoor, outdoor, day or night.

This Headphones give to us some advantages, good reviews already proving the quality of this product, like this :
1. So-so headset
This headset, like other 900 MHz headsets I have owned, suffers from hum, hiss, dropouts and poor fidelity. The claim of crystal clear reception and 150 ft range is a large exaggeration, in my opinion. Even using the headset thirty feet or less away from the transmitter I experience, at times, dropouts that last a couple of seconds and they occur often enough to make the use of the headset more frustrating than I am willing to put up with. During normal or loud passages the sound quality is acceptable, but when the program volume is low, the signal to noise ratio is poor; The reception is like listening to AM radio under a power line. Part of this appears to be the headset, part is the transmitter. I substituted the transmitter from another brand of 900 MHz headsets for comparison, and the sound seemed somewhat better.

The comfort level of this headset is only "OK". I bought them hoping that I would like the on-ear design over the other headset I have which is over the ear...

Within 2 weeks one of the earpieces was not working. The next week the otjer side went out. This was embarrasing since I had given this item as a Christmas present.
I believe the recipient has since sent it in for repairs or replacement, but it may be too soon to get a response.WE will wait and see.

Great Product
I have an outdoor speaker that works wonderfully. Now I can listen anywhere in my home with great sound on the same 900 mhz freguency and using the same transmiter for both in and outside. Good job, great price, great quality for the price. It proves you don't have to spend alot of money to get a great set of speakers,

1. Could have been perfect
(Note, I am ranking this TV 3.5 stars)

I have a Sony 46" XBR3 but have been dying to upgrate to at least a 60". So when I see Samsung has two 65"ers in their 2010 line up (the 6500 and the not-yet-released-at-this-time 8500), I knew that I have to get one of them now.

First a few disclaimers on my purchase decision:
1. I only want to buy a LED LCD from Sony or Samsung--it's a personal thing. No Plasma/regular LCD/projector. So there aren't that many choices
2. Ideally I would have bought a local-dimming LED LCD since it will have the best contrast/dark level. But it's not available for 60"+ and I don't see it in the horizon in the next 18 months.
3. I hang the TV on the wall and only use the TV for display only. So all the other bells and whistles on sound--I don't care and won't review here
4. while 3D can be cool, I think it's over-hyped and doesn't worth another $500-1K for the 8500. I also need the TV now so 6500 it is!
5...

2. Beautiful, but one serious flaw
I purchased this TV without doing any research at all (which is unusual for me), just walked into the store and took one look at this beauty and knew it was coming home with me. Unfortunately, I should have done my research.

Don't get me wrong, the television is beautifully assembled, looks phenomenal wall mounted and has a fabulous picture. The thing is, it has these "white spots". Yes after about 5 minutes of watching I noticed during the bright scenes there were at least 5 spots about 1 cm in diameter each, located at the middle top and bottom of the screen, and also in the top left corner. The spots at the bottom of the screen almost looked like they could be related to the screw position for the stand (this was wall mounted though), but spots were also present on the top of the TV in the middle and top left. I decided my panel was defective. But I went into 2 other stores and their display models had the exact same "white spots"! Even though they aren't visible...

Big and Beautiful
This TV needs more reviews! I would give the tv 4.5 stars, not 5. I got it a couple weeks ago now. Overall it is an awesome TV, beautifully designed. Picture quality in HD and Blu-ray is amazing. SD is perfectly acceptable. The streaming movie internet apps are cool. Inputting text is a bit clunky however. Can't seem to get the facebook to work. Speakers are kinda sucky but you have to expect that on such a thin TV--got to get a home theater set up. There is a bit of light leak at the 4 corners of the TV, but again I think you kind of have to expect this on such a large LED edge lit tv. It can definitely be minimized with adjusting the picture settings.

If you want the biggest TV you can get without being really rich, this is the one to get. :)

Cheers.

1. Incredible picture quality but with very clunky extra features.
PICTURE

In terms of video quality, this TV is awesome. I can't imagine how the picture could be much better.

There are some minor picture quality issues with off-angle viewing (as the CNET review states), but I think CNET exaggerates the severity -- it's only noticeable to me if I'm far off center.

I haven't yet noticed any blooming effects.

Setting the "judder reduction" to 10 introduces some distortion at times, but a setting of 6 smoothes out motion well without noticeable distortion. However, this varies a bit with different source material. When viewing video files via DLNA that have a lower frame rate, the judder reduction setting can sometimes make things worse. But this is easy to turn off/on by source.

The color level seemed slightly off initially, even with CNET's recommended settings. For example, sometimes a blue sky would look slightly purple (i.e., too much red). But this was easily adjusted in the picture...

2. Awesome display
I have had this TV set up for 3 weeks now. Opinion:

Setup
Very simple, the packing box has removable plastic clips that allow you to slide the whole cover off. No annoying heavy staples. You can save the whole box with the reusable clips for moving the TV in the future. Took 2 people to safely lift the TV out of the styrofoam and lay it on the bed. About 15 screws later and the base is on. Pretty simple. The TV with base installed is about half the weight of my 32 inch Trinitron CRT.

Style
The black bevel with clear glass-like edging and brushed metal base is very attractive. When the TV is on there is a subtle blue glow on the bottom of the TV which is pleasant, but you can turn it off if you want. The base allows you to rotate the TV about 30 degrees each way which is a nice feature. The 1.6" thickness is a big wow factor.

Features
Extensive menu features for tweaking the picture. You can tweak the Auto Motion Plus (AMP) very...

Review: Samsung UN46B8500 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV
~*~Updated - 01/20/10~*~
- Samsung has decided to discontinue the 8 Series (Website has completely wiped them out). Couple of reasons for this is due to the fact that since not many people knew about the 8 series (more importantly this 8500 set), they were losing money off of something no one was buying. Another reason, is because they are now putting the majority of their 'eggs in 1 basket'. That 'Basket' being the new 3D Technology. Which leads me to believe that the next line of Samsungs are NOT going to have as much focus & emphasis on picture quality such as this 8500 HDTV, but more focus & emphasis on the 3D Technology. One supporting fact: Samsung has yet to deny the possibility that NONE of the 2010 models will have Local Dimming - which is one of the reasons why this 8500 set is (and still is) the best LED/LCD on the market today. Instead all of the new 2010 models will go back to Edge-Lit LED backlighting, which is a step backwards.

- My advice? We all know...

1. Great TV - But no blatant advantages over plasma
Little background:
currently have two Plasmas in the household. I am a big fan of their picture quality, black levels, motion handling, and input lag (PS3 games).

Began around three months ago searching for a larger TV, as my 50" plasma just wasn't cutting it for me in terms of size b/c we sit 14' away from the screen. Unfortunately, my built-in entertainment center width was a major constraint. No plasma larger than 50" could fit (the 54" G25 Panasonic was 0.5" too wide!!). I began to look at LEDs as they were built with thinner bezels and could thus squeeze into my entertainment center and still have a diagonal of 55".

I was very concerned with a few items when i purchased this TV:

1. Picture Quality (potential) Problems

a) Flashlighting - read anywhere on Edge-lit LEDs and this is probably the #1 problem that comes up. Please note that with this TV i do NOT watch in complete darkness. Watching in complete darkness tends to exacerbate...

2. Well Reasearched TV Buyer
I have researched every brand of TV via internet and store visit in the last 6 months and narrowed it down to Samsung. After deciding I wasn't interested in 3D, I looked for the best 2D TV with the best Picture. With out a question, this is the best 2D TV on the market today. First, the out of the box plug and play was super easy. I was expecting to calibrate the settings and had CNETs suggestions ready. To my amazement the factory picture settings were almost spot on. The main take away from this review is that the picture quality is really the best I've seen. If there is only one con to this unit, like other LEDs, the picture's colors do get slightly washed out at very extreme angles. Other than that no other issues (no corner ghosting). Even the sound I really believe is better than average, but I will upgrade to a sound bar for that theater/sports volume needed. Again, picture picture picture quality is amazing and you should buy this TV.

An Absolute Beauty
Like many other people, I purchased this TV after an extensive research on the net in addition to side-by-side comparison at Best Buy and Costco warehouse. Costco doesn't have exactly same model but it was same line with lower number, UN55C6300. This Samsung LED TV simply blew away the competition by big margin. The other LCD and LED models looked simply pale and pallid in color.
I ordered this TV on July 5, 2010 and received it on July 8, 2010, just 3 days after I clicked 'Place Order.' There's no need to say it was a very prompt and fast delivery. The picture quality is just as many other people said who purchased Samsung LED TV. It's stunningly clear and so life-like. My wife and I were watching a Boston RedSox game on New England Sports Network the other day, and she commented that the game looked like being played right in front her. My living room is rather small for 55-inch TV, but I wanted a big TV as this is going to be my main TV replacing 40-inch LCD I had last couple...

1. My daughter is in heaven. Doesn't work with iTunes store.
My 6-year-old is so excited about her new Barbie Girl. And I've had lots of fun with it, too. You should have seen her eyes light up when she heard the first song that we downloaded. One minor, but nice, feature is that there is a Barbie song already on the player, which comes partially charged. We had a long day of errands before we could get home to download music, but she listened contentedly to the existing Barbie song over and over. I'm not sure about the headphones yet. There are three sizes of interchangable cushions for the ears, but at this point even the smallest ones aren't keeping them in her ears well. She's very petite. Maybe she just needs to get used to them.

One major disappointment for me is that the Barbie Girl is not compatible with music downloaded from the iTunes store or WMA files protected with DRM. I've only dealt with the iPod before. Maybe that's common for mp3 players? I don't know.

We've tried to do the online stuff, but...

2. Toy for my daughter
My daughter is very happy with this toy. The only thing I don't like about the website this toy is for that one or the other way they are pulling the money from the parents pockets teasing the kids with some disabled features forcing to buy new products that have an access code to them and unfortunately an expiration date.

We pre-ordered this for our daughter (11) who has not stopped playing with it since she got it.
